Book Study Sign Up – It’s not too Late?
We are excited to announce that we’ve received copies of The Unfinished Teacher for our upcoming book study! If you’re interested in participating, please reach out to Leanne at millimanl@chebschools.com.
To get started, we need at least 10 participants, with a budgeted cap of 20 participants. Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t wait to secure your spot.
The book, The Unfinished Teacher, is co-authored by PJ Caposey, who will also be joining us as our guest speaker during the March 5th professional development afternoon. This is a fantastic opportunity to create synergy between the insights from the book study and our upcoming PD session.
We look forward to your participation in this enriching experience!
Survey’s CLOSING at the end of January!
Time is running out! If you have not completed your perception survey, please do so this week. These surveys are an essential part of gathering feedback from our school community to help us identify areas of strength and opportunities for growth.

Thank You and Safety Meeting Update
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in our Safety Meeting on Monday, January 20th. We had a fantastic group of eighteen participants, representing a variety of perspectives, including a classroom teacher, a retired administrator, the new Sheriff and Chief of Police, as well as many faculty and staff members.
Our discussions covered several important topics, and it was inspiring to witness the synergy and shared values within the group. Creating a unified vision is incredibly important to me, and together, we are taking meaningful steps to crystalize that vision and develop a clear pathway to achieve it.
As our first major initiative, the group has planned an Active Shooter Training for all faculty and staff, scheduled for the afternoon of February 5th. Below is our tentative agenda for this important session.
