FYI - Construction continues to move forward at East Elementary, with several important milestones completed this week.

Completed & In Progress

• State boiler inspection – Passed

• Underground plumbing inspection – Passed

• Underground electrical inspection scheduled for September 14

• Leveling plates being set in preparation for steel erection

• Exterior metal panel trim and caulking continuing

• Insulation work continues around the boilers and tunnel

• Interior punch-list items continue to be addressed

Looking Ahead - Over the coming week, crews will continue work throughout the remaining construction areas, including:

• Continued drywall work in the corridor construction area

• Continued installation of exterior metal panels

• Steel erection beginning September 12

• Completion of interior punch-list items

• Mechanical work on RTU2

• Owner training on the new air handlers/fire alarm panel on September 17

• First fire drill with students scheduled for Friday, September 18
